Texas Children's Pediatrics Ripley House is a community-based collaborative health and wellness project that provides an accessible medical home to children and families. We provide ongoing community and organizational support for family-focused health services that address the broad social, health and educational needs of children. 

At Texas Children's Pediatrics Ripley House, our pediatricians have been specially trained to care for the unique needs of pediatric patients. They are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Our pediatricians work closely together for continuity of care and scheduling flexibility, which allows patients and parents to develop a strong relationship with your healthcare provider. 

We prefer to see patients on an appointment basis, but we do accept walk-ins.

Billing Information

Payment for medical services can be made by cash, personal check or credit card and is due at the time of service. It is the parent or guardian's responsibility to pay any deductible, co-pay or co-insurance required by the insurance provider. As a courtesy, our office will file claims with any of our TCPA contracted insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card to every visit.

If you do not have health insurance or Medicaid, we will ask that you complete a TCPA Fee Schedule Discount Request Form and provide proof of income to determine your discount.

Prescription Information

Written or electronic prescriptions will be given after a patient has been seen by a physician or nurse practitioner.

Refills

For routine prescription refills, please contact your pharmacy who will notify us. Controlled substance prescription requests, including ADHD prescriptions, must be called into our office 2 business days prior to picking up your child’s prescription.

Our After-Hours Schedule

We offer after-hours triage services by skilled registered nurses for our parents who are concerned about their child after the office closes. This service should not be used for non-urgent medical questions, medication refills or appointment requests.
