About
My background is in pediatric critical care. After a decade in the Texas Children’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and serving as a founding member of the Texas Children's ECMO team, I transitioned to pediatric urgent care. It was in this role that the door to primary care pediatrics was opened to me. I cherish the ability to have continuity in care across the lifespan of my patients, from infancy to adulthood. I am currently completing a masters degree, in pediatric acute care and will be dual board certified as a family nurse practitioner and pediatric acute care nurse practitioner. Aside from work, I enjoy spending time spent outdoors with my husband and daughters, reading, and teaching/volunteering in the children's ministry at our church.
