Personal Statement
Dr. Wells, a native of Arlington, Texas, joined Hill Country Pediatrics in 2001 after completing a pediatric residency and internship, including an extra year as Chief Resident, at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. “After 21 years as a pediatrician, nothing gives me more pleasure than to see a parent lean towards their child and remark, ‘Dr. Wells has seen you since you were born!’” Wells, the parent of two sons, relates to parenting at all ages and appreciates the breadth of pediatrics — providing care to patients from newborns to young adulthood and offering guidance to their families when she can. Wells has been named one of Austin’s Best Pediatricians several times by Austin Monthly magazine.
