Personal Statement

Dr. Tarrant, a native of Hunt, Texas, joined Hill Country Pediatrics in 2003 after completing a pediatric internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. She believes that caring for children when they are well is often more important than caring for them when they are ill. “The long-term relationships I build with families are the most important and rewarding parts of my job,” she says. “I view myself not only as a resource, but also an ally to parents who are doing the most challenging job in the world.”  Dr.Tarrant has been named multiple times as one of Austin’s Best Pediatricians by Austin Monthly magazine.
